As an end to his project regarding the history of OECD in education, Christian Ydesen and co-particiants in the project "The Global History of OECD in Education" have released a book called "The OECD's Historical Rise in Education".

The book covers the consequences of OECD initiatives as they have happened in both OECD member- and non-member states. With contributions from researchers across the globe, the book compares how countries have dealt with the emergence of a supranational private organization gaining foothold in education policy discourses all over the world.
